MOSES kick-off meeting
MOSES Kick-off Meeting took place between the 14th and 15th of July 2020 under the coordination of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). All the 17 partners from 7 EU countries, participated in the meeting, united in their vision to improve the modal split for Short Sea Shipping (SSS) in the European container supply chain.
The COVID-19 rapid spreading around the world raised the need for immediate adaptation in the new conditions and therefore, the MOSES team adapted in the new remote working conditions by organizing the meeting virtually.
The Kick-off Meeting marked the starting point for the constructive and successful collaboration between all partners. During first day of the meeting, the project goals and objectives were highlighted, while the Work Package leaders explained their roles, responsibilities, and visions for paving the way for the success of the project.
The MOSES consortium had also the pleasure to welcome the Project Officer, Mr. Georgios Charalampous, who made an overview presentation about the structure of INEA, and he also mentioned thoroughly the admin guidelines related to the Grant Agreement that need to be followed. He concluded his presentation by highlighting the expectations from the MOSES team.
The second day of the MOSES kick-off meeting was dedicated to a workshop about the MOSES innovations. More specifically, presentations were made regarding the user needs and requirements, as well as the use cases and scenarios for MOSES innovations, in the context of WP2. In addition, market opportunities and business cases as well as the specifications for the project’s innovations were also discussed.
